I will be waiting...
I started out on my journey to becoming a writer, with poetry being the most artistic form or writing, and my interest in art and imagination, that its no-coincidence that I became so influenced by this wonderful form of written work.
My first poems were not the greatest, no-one's first attempt at something was ever their best, who knows how many mistakes someone could've made to get where they are now. In the year of 2014, I discover my writing has evolved so much compared to my first few writing pieces, and I've also seen how my interests, hobbies, and inspirations all influence my writing in a different way. It even changed when my way of thinking changed. Also when choosing to grow one aspect of yourself you may not realize, that you have and are growing your potential in the aspect you have chosen to explore. The more recent poems, and other writings, have been putting a smile on my face as I read them afterwards to find I found something that requires hard work and allows me to create something magical, in the sense that when you read, you create a story in your mind. And you see a world of wonder and mystery. That is the power of writing/storytelling.

I have worked at my hometown's newspaper company, The Listowel Banner, as a co-op student during my fifth year of high school. Where I wrote articles, took pictures, proofread, and was given so many opportunities to explore writing and experience a unique way of life that involves writing and many other aspects of the career as well. I learned so much from the people I worked with that taught me some important life skills, it was better, and more helpful than I could have hoped for.
